GNIOT is a private institution established in 2001. The college has a student strength of over 6500 students and 300+ full-time faculty members. The institute is located in Greater Noida. It is approved by the MHRD, Government of India and the AICTE. It is affiliated with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) Meerut. GNIOT Greater Noida has won awards like B-School leadership Award and CSR Award for Top Institute of India. Furthermore, NAAC has accredited GNIOT Greater Noida with an ‘A+’ grade. 

GNIOT admissions are made at the UG, Diploma, and, PG levels. The BTech course is the flagship course of the institute. Apart from this, the popular courses include MTech, PGDM and MBA. The GNIOT fee structure lies between Rs 1,70,000 to Rs 7,38,000. Admission to GNIOT courses are done through various entrance exams including JEE Main, CUET, UPSEE, NIMCET, CAT, MAT, NMAT, XAT, CMAT, NEET, CLAT, GATE, JEECUP, and others.

As per GNIOT placement 2023, the overall placement rate was 92.52%. The highest CTC for the GNIOT Greater Noida placement was Rs 40 lakh per annum and the average CTC was Rs 6.5 lakh per annum. The top recruiters include Berger Paints India Ltd, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited, etc.
